Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm that their manuscript complies with all the items listed below. Submissions that do not adhere to these requirements may be returned for correction prior to peer review.

☐ The manuscript is original and has not been published previously, nor is it under consideration by another journal. If applicable, relevant details have been disclosed in the “Comments to the Editor” section.

☐ The manuscript file is submitted in an acceptable format ( Microsoft Word).

☐ Wherever applicable, web links or DOIs for cited references have been included.

☐ The manuscript text is formatted using a 12-point font and appropriate spacing, with italics used instead of underlining (except for web addresses). All tables, figures, and illustrations are inserted at appropriate locations within the text rather than appended at the end.

Manuscripts must be prepared in MS Word using Vancouver referencing style.

Article Types
Original Article: 2500–4000 words
Review Article: up to 5000 words
Case Report: up to 1500 words
Letter to Editor: 500 words

Formatting
* Title page with author details
* Abstract (structured for original articles)
* Keywords (3–6 MeSH terms)
* Figures in JPEG/PNG (300 dpi)
* Tables editable, not images

Ethics approval and patient consent must be mentioned where applicable.

Authors are strongly advised to carefully review the Manuscript Instructions before submitting their work to the Global Journal of Medical Sciences and Clinical Research. Adherence to these guidelines will facilitate efficient review and timely publication.

Readers and authors are encouraged to independently verify information presented in published articles using additional credible sources.

Online Submission Process

  • Authors must complete a one-time free registration on the journal website prior to submission.
  • Registration is mandatory; however, no submission fees are charged.
  • After successful registration, authors should log in and submit their manuscript using the New Submission option in their author dashboard.

The journal is committed to rapid peer review and prompt publication for manuscripts that meet scientific and ethical standards.

In case of technical difficulties during submission, authors may contact the editorial office via official email.

Alternative Submission Method

If authors are unable to submit their manuscript through the online portal, they may send the submission via email. The main manuscript file must be accompanied by the following mandatory documents:

  • Covering Letter
  • Copyright Form
  • Author Contribution Form
